We talked about it briefly earlier this week. We're going to get into what he had to say about NASA and why he has some real problems with Space Force and what his whole interest is kind of in the moon. It's a very interesting conversation. There was also a really cool video that came out just a couple of days ago from Uncanny Expeditions, a Video shot from a distance, very, very far away. And it is of the Tonopah test range. 01:32 And there is a clip that we're going to look at where there's one guy in this clip who looks like he's got to be eight and a half feet tall. 01:42 And it's really weird. That's supposed to come out soon. 06:38 In episode eight, they start to get really into the meat and potatoes of what Bigelow's whole angle on the UFO, UAP issue is vis-a-vis Bigelow Aerospace and how that plays a role in the whole... 06:53 the whole drama. So he has this conversation with George Knappen in this clip. He's going to talk a little bit about what he told president Trump about space force and about NASA and about the importance of all this stuff. And I want you to take a listen and then we'll come back and talk about this. 07:13 Back to your February meeting with the president, I don't know how you crammed all this stuff into one, an hour and a half or so, a little bit less than that. But, wow, you covered a lot of ground. 07:23 UAP discussion has made a lot of news around the world. But the discussion of Space Force, for example, let's get into what your proposal was to the president and how you came about, why you figured that that was a good topic to bring up with them. 07:39 So, as... 07:44 So I have here reports I gave to General Salzman. He was a four-star, and I understand that he has since retired, since I was giving this to him. And this other paper was to Chance Salzman and Stephen Purdy. 08:01 I think Purdy has been reassigned. 08:08 And then we have the subject of the new academy. 08:12 that Trump has just authorized. 08:19 And that NASA is going to be incorporated in a central role in that entire effort. 08:30 When I first heard about this, I thought it was a joke. 08:34 As an inside contractor to NASA, we know a lot about ones that are buried and so on within management of NASA. 08:46 And NASA is not the same agency that got us to the moon originally. 09:00 It has a lot of problems. 09:03 It has turned into more of a parochial government agency. 09:08 It's only a civil agency. It's not a military organism. That's what Eisenhower saw, too, that it wasn't going to be part of the military-industrial complex. 09:18 I have a highly-placed friend that is now a senior... 09:29 first an assistant to Isaacman and Jared. And Jared and I talked when the Senate was still going through the process of confirmation. 09:41 And I told him that he has a terrible job ahead of him of trying to reorganize NASA. 09:51 It has 10 centers that are all fiefdoms. 09:56 It has thousands of people with their hands out for money. So it was doling money out to everybody. It's everybody's best friend. 10:06 And his budget is way too small. 10:10 It has 14,000 people roughly right now. 10:14 And it doesn't have what it really takes at all to compete with China and Russia. China, much less if Russia joined them and partnered with them to really get serious about things in space. 10:34 It has a lot of good people, but it is... 10:38 inside knowledge is that it's almost impossible to terminate somebody. 10:44 You can't fire them. 10:46 We had a very senior manager who wound up with a department. 10:52 I'm going to stop there because he's going to divert into this human resources conversation here. But on the broader point, he's setting up this idea that there is a race underway to claim territory on the moon. And we know that in the last couple of weeks, Space Force started putting weapons in orbit or admitted to having done that. And he'll go on in a minute to talk a little bit about the problems with Space Force. 11:24 But I just wonder from you guys, what do you think about Bigelow going there in this episode? And he's starting to talk a little bit more about maybe some of the motivations that that some of these military contractors might have. 11:39 I think that we have to look at the broad, broad picture of everybody who's like starting to speak in public. It's not just him. He has a very unique perspective from the business side. Yes. And he has direct contact with very powerful people and not just the government, but in every industry, I would guess. 12:00 We also have Jacques, who over the last couple of weeks has been also trying to caution people about the whole AI revolution that seems to be upon us. 12:12 And just yesterday, Dylan was also on Hannity. And they also talked about like the potential for stuff to happen in the future. And we need to be ready. We need to prepare. 12:26 Thing is, man, In Forbidden Science, I think it was volume six or seven. I'm not entirely sure. There is a passage where Jacques Vallée discusses that this group, the NITS group, at a certain point, they did identify some kind of a threat. 12:45 And if that's true, if they did, and they're not discussing it publicly, there seems to be like this kind of behind the scenes tug of war for people to not talk about whatever they know. But there seems to be a lot of people that do know something. I have no fucking idea what it is, but it's a little frustrating, you know, because I don't know, they're trying to just like walk us through it, like grabbing us by the hand, but it's like, Why the hints? 13:15 Why not just be clear about why you think we should be preparing like this? 13:21 What do you think, Pablo? What's your instinct telling you? You watch a lot of different sources. 13:27 What do you see from the 30,000-foot view? 13:30 For me, it's a combination of, yeah, a race for resources as, dude, just like fucking two days ago in Sonora, it was raining as if like entire pools were just falling from the sky. So it's pretty clear that the climate is changing and has changed. And I don't know, it feels like a lot of these people seem to know something wild is going to happen. 14:05 And they're being very like, quiet about it. But at the same time, some of them are like, get ready, like, you know, and it's a little frustrating, man, you know, I've been chasing this story for a couple of years, at least. 14:20 And it's a little frustrating to speak to some of these people who seem to clearly know something and then just months later, walking it back. 14:28 And this whole sphere that involves like Jay Stratton and all the OSAP crew and Dan Farah and all these people, very guarded all the time. We'll get to you later, but this is a good chat. 15:11 So, yeah, we were just talking about Bigelow and Space Force, and then Pavel is kind of expanding on this and saying, look, there's a lot of weird chatter about spookiness in the wings. It suggests somebody knows something And I think the climate connection is definitely worth making. Uh, and I'm glad that you brought that up, Pablo. I, um, I can't help but notice the climate collapsing. 15:42 It seems like that's happening on the same timeline as a lot of the stuff that we're watching is advancing and picking up. Do you think that that's really a big factor here or is that just a connection for me? 15:52 It has to be, man. It's affecting everybody. 15:55 Alongside the war, the whole AI thing and the climate thing, It's a confluence of many different things that I think are eventually going to probably converge at a certain point. 16:07 The thing is, and it is what I keep just being very bullish about, is that if you know something and it's not classified, you got to tell us. 16:21 Even if it scares people, If you know something for sure and you have evidence for it and it's not classified, people need to know. 16:33 So tell people who aren't as closely following this stuff as you are, what have you seen specifically in the last few weeks that's making you feel a little spooky about this? 16:42 Just chatter, just Jacques Vallée talking about how we are at a very key point in human civilization. AI is going to be very important in it. We need to prepare, we need to get ready. 16:55 My role is gonna change. I'm gonna try and help the future generations to deal with whatever is going to happen, but they don't say what that thing is. Jacques is, to his credit, he's one of the few people who know about this stuff, and he does talk about it in his books a little bit. So the little we know, like actual real information, actually comes from Jacques' books. 17:23 Because he's been documenting for many years in the Forbidden Science series essentially the shitshow that is this topic historically. 17:33 I find myself more confused and disoriented after listening to or reading Valet's stuff than I am before. 17:43 I go in with a clear idea of what I think the situation is and then I read his stuff and I'm like, I don't even know if you know It doesn't sound like anyone really knows. 17:54 And those two things, I have a hard time keeping them both in my head at the same time. How can you at the same time have this advanced program that supposedly has made all this progress and also simultaneously be completely flummoxed by the whole thing? 18:09 And I feel like the story is even more complicated than that. 18:15 Yep. Especially with this Uncanny Expeditions video that just popped up. 18:20 Oh, I am itching to see that one. I haven't seen it, and I haven't even looked at it. Oh, it's weird. It's weird. I want to see it. 18:28 Super weird. Let me go back to Bigelow and let him finish his thought, and then we'll come back and we'll switch gears to the Tonopah test range. Check this out. Listen to where he goes next. 18:40 NASA to Boeing for four years. First into all kinds of problems that NASA created. 18:45 Yeah. 18:48 And we were contractors not only to NASA, but to Boeing for four years. We had a lot of activities with Lockheed. And so we understood the game. We understood that basically Lockheed and Boeing are so gigantic they can have pretty much whatever they want. You know, that's just the political reality. 19:10 They're tremendous companies. So... 19:15 If you're going to start to get serious about the moon and having bases and so on, you don't want an agency that is way too weak and doesn't have recent history at all of being able to meet that challenge. 19:38 So Trump created the Space Force in 2019. 19:46 They didn't go far enough. 19:49 And Space Force needs more money because Trump stopped short of doing what really needed to be done in 2019. 19:59 And that is he needs to sanction Space Force to have astronauts. 20:05 You've got to put some teeth. You've got to create the muscle, which NASA doesn't have. You have to have something that's really capable of the fight. 20:16 If you're going to have a dog in the fight, make it a capable mean dog if necessary. 20:22 It isn't NASA. 20:24 Hashtag Space Marines. 20:25 It's a political dog. It's a political animal. 20:29 Space Force has tremendous potential for anything outside of low Earth orbit. 20:36 it needs to be sanctioned to have astronauts immediately. It needs to have no affiliation with NASA other than to have the rights to use NASA's facilities for training, the neutral buoyancy tank, et cetera, et cetera. But Space Force needs to have its own destinations. 20:55 in Leo, in lunar orbit, on the surface of the moon, at the Lagrange points. 21:02 We have no history of being further away from Mama than 239,000 miles, which is nothing. You know, we have no business dreaming about Mars when we know nothing, we have no experience about being further and further and further away. 21:20 That was our business as Habitat developers, is understanding the dynamics of people on their own, and there is nobody else to help you. So what you bring with you is all you have, and you better bring a lot of it. People, assets of all different kinds, medical supplies, much less food, and so on, and so on, and so on, and entertainment. You gotta be able to, on long duration space missions, You have to have people not go crazy and get bored to death. 21:53 So they've got to have entertainment. So it's really a complex kind of thing. So Space Force is the answer. Space Force needs those facilities. They need a budget that's three or four times what they have. I know that sounds huge, but if China makes up its mind sometime to really go after the moon and control the moon, And the 67 space treaty is not enough to get in the way. I used to do lectures on that, on the 1967 space treaty. It's not enough. What's the weakness of that treaty? 22:26 Okay, we'll go into that. But basically his point is like, if you let China get there first, then we never, that prestige has gone forever. That will just always be playing catch up. And we'll never be able to really regain that lead. 22:44 What do you guys think about this? 22:47 Do you not see the issue there? For me, at least, this constant direction that this is being taken in terms of competition that is never-ending doesn't seem like it. That's the main problem for me. It's like, why not think about doing this because we're supposed to be a planet, we're supposed to be all people. 23:14 And nobody gets that. 23:16 People from the OSAP crew, they all have that militaristic mentality. And I would say that, I would even argue that pretty much everybody who's worked in government, like in the IC and the military, they all have that mindset on different levels. Some of them are a little less, I would say, but they all have it. Like it's ingrained in them when they get in there. 23:41 And that's really unfortunate. 23:43 Yeah. But like my question, I guess, is what can be done to try and maybe reorient that mindset, you know? 23:54 right like could you have something like a united earth space force or some kind of like globally funded yeah space program forget about the aliens like for a second let's just think about like the real world implications for now because i know that when confirmation comes the world is going to change the reality is going to change it already changed for a lot of abductees and experiencers, but thinking about just the mining helium three aspect of it, and the whole competition that is already ongoing, what can be done to try and change that constant state of competition in their minds? 24:38 I literally think it boils down to like, it is a consciousness thing. I know it sounds so corny, but it's like you can't even see it as an option unless you're at a certain level of. 24:52 Well, I've been called naive multiple times for just thinking about it, man. Sure, me too. By a lot of these people, you know, yeah. 25:02 can i come in yeah yeah it's been almost half an hour and i'm about to lose my voice for not speaking this is like a stephen bassett show um right because i've also got a point that you made on the last one and i forgot to come in on there about people in the know and suggesting stuff because but let's let's stick with the moon thing right wild to think that we should have any kind of united anything when literally the whole planet isn't and we've had these conversations about the whole planet's in direct conflict with each other over everything all these countries businesses organizations people are um competing um but they're going to go yeah but we should all get together to go help out on the moon they won't get together to combat covid they won't get together to combat cancer and children they won't get together to solve world hunger i've seen a stat today and i don't even know if it was true but if the us opened up every single church to one homeless person each there would be no more homeless people in the united states Something like that. 26:04 Whether that's true or not, I don't know. But we're jumping ahead to right. We're all going to buttfuck each other down here. But let's be really nice on the moon up there. And let's all go mine all this shit. We're not sharing anything down here. 26:19 and everything costs a fortune, but let's all go mine this stuff up here together. 26:24 This is like Armageddon when they go to Bruce Willis and go, can we get you guys to go up and save the planet? As if there wouldn't be 30 different missions from different planets all going up to try and do their own thing at the same time, right? So, yeah, there's not going to be any United anything right now because we're not in a place to do it. Not that it's not the right thing to do, Clint, Pavel, that's not an argument that it's not the right thing to do. But we genuinely or generally don't unite on anything. 26:55 So China will go. You need somebody with some optimism. You need somebody who can like articulate a vision. They need somebody with a little, I don't know, excitement about, yes, I know we're surrounded by terrible people who all want to obliterate the United States, but It's worth a shot. Why not? Why not just pitch the notion? 29:23 You have to start somewhere. 29:26 Someone needs to lead by example by taking a risk that they might get fucked in the end, but you're like a show of faith of like, I'm going to put myself out there. 29:35 I may not get anything from this, but I'm going to trust you guys to join me and help us do this. 29:41 And this was the original thrust of what NASA was supposed to be turning into post-Cold War and into the 1990s and the early aughts. That was kind of the vision was that it was going to be this... 29:56 global research effort that we were going to keep pouring money into and resources. And it was going to get us to the moon and we were going to go to Mars. Like NASA was the one that was sold to us as being able to accomplish all of those things. And it was supposed to be in partnership with our Russian friends and, you know, the Chinese and hopefully everybody else who has an interest in space. 30:17 And Bigelow is flipping that whole script and he's going, no, that's over. That never happened. It was never going to happen. And now we're in a multipolar world where everybody is looking at the moon as it's worth. I had Gemini just run the numbers on this and the value of the helium three on the moon is between 16 quadrillion and 60 quadrillion. Um, It's the power source for the rest of the solar system going on into the next century. That's it. 30:47 That's where it is. And whoever controls it is going to dominate the rest of the solar system. And I think that's the point he's making. He's like, look, Space Force has no manpower. I mean, it's got people, but it can't deploy space marines anywhere to take territory and hold on to it. Do we have the ability to patrol the Lagrange points and control them? 31:08 if there's a little thing that we are not considering because bigelow is talking about this helium 3 as if it was probably the only uh exotic power source there is we don't know that yet we don't know if there really is another type of power source the one that for example dylan has discussed or said that he can't confirm nor deny not discuss but uh and there are other like different ideas of power sources that are out there so this could be potentially one but it uh i don't think it should be treated as just the only reason why they would fight over a resource you know he goes on and we don't have time to go through because it's like a two hour interview but he goes on and makes the point that there is uh shackleton crater has a bunch of water 31:59 That's easy to get to. And basically like, it's not like you have to take the whole moon. You just need to control where the water is. Cause that's, that's the only part that really you could put up a base. You could have resources to do. You'd turn the water into fuel and do other things. So he's kind of getting at that. And he's saying, if this is the world we're in and the Russians and the Chinese are going to be aggressive about establishing dominance in space, then we need to be able to scale up our space force because NASA is not up to the task.
